We (SOPA, Inc.) received a call from Manila School District on the 25th of June stating that the “ball had been dropped” on ordering furniture for their new high school opening in August. On only 24 hours' notice, AFI flew a representative down, and we met with the school district leaders on June 27th. We turned around drawings and pricing before the July 4th holiday and received a Purchase Order on July 10th with a required finish date of August 8th. If you do the math, that is 29 days to complete order entry, production, shipping, and install! Most manufacturers and dealers would back away from that challenge, but AFI and SOPA welcomed the challenge. The first truck arrived at Manila High School on Monday, August 6th, and at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 8th, our installers walked out of the building with the job complete, and the district was ready to unveil the school for the community open house Thursday morning. To top it off, the district realized on Wednesday that they needed an additional 17 teacher desks. The order was placed for those on Wednesday, and we arranged a special delivery on Sunday to have them in place for the first day of school. I certainly cannot say enough about the teamwork that was required from the SOPA and AFI to satisfy our customer. From the initial meeting to the day of completion, there was constant communication to ensure that this was a success!

Academia not only provides excellent products, but great customer service. They have set the bar for being a large company with a small company’s intimacy in customer service. Any customization or specific needs that my customers have requested have been no problem for the staff at Academia. They truly are a blessing to work with on a daily basis!
